WE STUDY ACADEMY

My name is Nguyễn Anh Tuấn, and I am currently a student at We Study.
Before joining We Study, English felt extremely difficult. I had almost no foundation and did not know where to begin. At times, I even thought English was not for me and that I would never be good at it.

However, after studying at We Study for nine months, my outlook has changed completely.
From the very beginning, my teachers created a detailed learning pathway that matched my ability. We started with the essentials, much like learning Vietnamese: the alphabet, pronunciation, blending sounds, word formation, then parts of speech and how to use them in simple sentences. Once I had a solid foundation, I moved on to the twelve English tenses and gradually learned to work with compound sentences, complex sentences and more complete ways of expressing ideas.

Learning step by step helped me realise that English is not as difficult as I once thought. The most important thing is not being brilliant from day one, but having the patience, effort and determination to keep going. If you practise a little, learn a little and improve a little each day, things that once seemed impossible gradually become manageable.

I believe English is not a subject reserved for gifted students. Anyone can learn it with the right method and the determination not to give up.

At We Study, my progress has come not only from the program itself, but also from the teachers’ dedication, care and warmth. They closely follow each student’s development, helping us identify what we are missing and what we need to improve. With that support, I have gradually rebuilt my English foundation.

I also appreciate that We Study does not force everyone into the same pathway. Every student has different strengths, weaknesses and levels of knowledge. Some have lost their foundation completely, while others are missing only a few key pieces. The centre therefore works to create a pathway that fits each learner, so everyone can progress at their own pace.

What I value most is that the teachers do more than teach English. Alongside lessons, they talk with us about student wellbeing, the challenges we face and our hopes for the future. These conversations are not just friendly chats; they also give us a chance to practise English, share our thoughts and become more confident communicators.

After nine months at We Study, the greatest thing I have gained is not just English knowledge. More importantly, my mindset has changed. I used to know nothing about English and think it was impossibly difficult; now I understand that anything is possible when you start in the right way and stay committed to the journey.

To me, We Study is more than a place to learn English. It has helped me rebuild my foundation, grow in confidence and believe that I can achieve things I once thought were beyond me.

Since I first started studying at WESA, I have made significant progress in English. I really enjoy learning here and feel comfortable in the environment. The staff and teachers are dedicated, enthusiastic and explain things simply but effectively. WESA also offers many plans and activities that help me improve my English further.

Over the past six months at WESA, I have found the learning environment supportive, with teachers who genuinely follow each student’s progress. The lessons are easy to understand, and teachers adapt them to students’ levels instead of teaching rigidly from textbooks.
As a result, I feel more confident communicating in English.
What I like most is how quickly students and teachers connect. It makes me feel comfortable sharing the areas where I am still learning and the mistakes I make along the way.

My time at We Study, especially learning with Mr. Hoàng, has been an experience I truly value. He is strict about learning and always expects students to take their goals seriously and take responsibility for them. At the same time, he genuinely cares about his students, both in and beyond class, especially when I was learning to live independently away from home.
He teaches more than knowledge; he shares practical life experience through stories and lessons from his own journey. His classes are carefully prepared, high-quality, easy to understand, practical and memorable.
I am truly grateful to the teachers and We Study for helping me progress academically while also giving me valuable lessons and experience for the road ahead. ❤️
