Student Support at We Study: Resources, Advice and Feedback
When you start a new course, difficult material may not be your only concern. You may also wonder who will notice when you need help, or who you can ask when you get stuck. Our student support at We Study is built around a commitment to accompany every learner and leave no one behind. Much of this work happens beyond the lesson itself, providing a foundation for each student’s progress.
Here is how the different parts of that support work together.
Our teachers’ responsibility does not end when class finishes. Progress comes through ongoing practice, independent study and learning from mistakes. Teachers and teaching assistants are there to listen, offer timely guidance and help you work through barriers as you pursue your goals.
Learning resources you can use in different ways
Effective study needs good resources that are easy to access. We Study provides materials both online and at the centre.
A library for independent study
A quiet corner of the centre houses a library with selected foreign-language books, regularly updated exam preparation materials and specialist magazines. You can study independently, explore a subject in more depth or find fresh inspiration in a book.
We Study students have access to resources that support their learning.
Recorded lessons to revisit whenever you need them.
Vocabulary and grammar organised by topic.
Practice tests and additional exercises with detailed answers.
Further reading, videos and podcasts prepared or selected by We Study teachers.
These resources help you take charge of your study wherever you are.
One-to-one advice for a personal learning plan
Every learner starts from a different point and has different goals. One-to-one sessions with a teacher are therefore a central part of our support. They give you time to:
Review your current skills: Your teacher helps you identify your strengths and the areas that need attention.
Develop your own plan: Together, you map out a detailed plan suited to your goals, whether these involve IELTS preparation, communication or another learning need.
Work through questions in depth: Discuss the topics or language points you still find difficult.
This is dedicated time for individual attention and a learning plan built around you.
Every We Study student receives individual attention and support.
Detailed feedback that helps you improve
Exercises are much less useful if you do not understand your mistakes or what to improve. At We Study, students receive careful feedback on every writing or speaking assignment. This includes:
Identifying specific errors: Teachers explain the grammar, vocabulary or pronunciation issue rather than simply underlining it.
Showing how to improve: They suggest alternatives and explain why an expression is more natural or accurate.
Recognising what works: They also acknowledge what you have done well to encourage you and build confidence.
As guidance from education specialists explains, effective feedback is an important part of helping learners make sustained progress.
Student support: our 100% commitment
This support reflects our commitment to care for each student and take responsibility for their learning experience. When you choose a course with us, you also receive a broader system of educational support.
If you are looking for a place that teaches you and stays alongside you as you learn, we are ready to welcome you.
